Celebrating Wider Achievement in Performing Arts

At Bellahouston Academy, we’re proud of the wide range of achievements our young people experience both in and out of school. Within the Faculty of Performing Arts, we aim to recognise and celebrate success in all its forms – from performance and production, to commitment, leadership and creativity.

Achievements can be recognised through certificates, praise postcards, displays in our faculty spaces, positive calls home, features on our social media pages, and mentions in school bulletins. While we often highlight achievements that take place within our classes, we know that many of our pupils develop and showcase their talents beyond the classroom.

We’d love to hear about it.

• Are you a parent or carer who has watched your child shine on stage, in rehearsals, or behind the scenes at a local theatre or music group?

• Are you a grandparent or family member who has proudly supported them at a community concert, festival or competition?

• Are you a group leader, choir director, coach or mentor who’s been impressed by a pupil’s dedication, reliability or growth?

• Are you a pupil involved in a creative hobby, club or activity that your teachers might not know about?

Whether it’s a music exam passed, a role in a youth production, commitment to a dance class, volunteer work at a theatre, or composing your own material – we want to hear about it. Every achievement helps build confidence, inspire others, and enrich the life of our faculty.
